Next Generation HSA™ for individuals and families, part of American Community's suite of consumer-choice products, is a value-added qualified high-deductible health plan that can be used with a health savings account (HSA). Beyond comprehensive coverage, it offers consumers both choice and value, as well as superior HSA fund administration. Next Generation HSA offers multiple options for the 12-month benefit period deductible amounts and benefit percentages for network and non-network healthcare providers. Once the deductible is met, the plan provides benefits for inpatient and outpatient hospital and physician services, based on the network levels selected in your application. In addition to a deductible-waived accident benefit, accidental death benefit (except in Iowa) and prescription drug program, it offers an embedded deductible option that allows a family member to start receiving benefits before the family deductible is satisfied. Optional coverage is available for dental and/or maternity (not available in Texas).
